Pricing questions
Is the free tier a trial?
No. The local DraftMesh app is free forever for one person on one machine — no time limit, no feature countdown, no credit card required to start or to keep using it.
What actually triggers needing a paid plan?
Your documents leaving your machine. Working locally — including running your own fleet of AI agents — stays on the free tier indefinitely. Syncing your own documents across your own devices is the paid Individual tier, and collaborating with other people is the paid Team tier.
How much do the Individual and Team tiers cost?
Pricing has not been announced for either paid tier. We are not publishing numbers until they are final — this page will be updated before any paid tier launches.
Will my files still be mine if I never upgrade?
Yes. Free-tier documents are plain files — .md, .html, .json — in a folder you chose on your own disk. There is no lock-in and no export step, because there is nothing proprietary to export from.
What happens to my files if I downgrade from a paid tier later?
They stay yours. Your documents remain ordinary markdown files on disk whether you are on the free tier, the Individual tier, the Team tier, or moving between them — downgrading does not strip content or lock anything away.
Do I need a credit card to use the free tier?
No. The free local app never asks for payment information. You only enter billing details if and when you choose to move to a paid tier, once pricing is announced.
