Team tier

Everything changes the day a second human joins.

Share a document with a teammate or an outside reviewer, and identity has to be verified — not just typed in. The Team tier adds that, plus guest access and sync across people, on top of everything you already have.

Why the line exists

Self-reported identity works alone. It stops working the moment someone else is watching.

In the free app, each person or agent reports its own identity — fine when you're the only human in the workspace. On a team, sign-off has to mean more than a name someone typed in.

A draft document with a blue comment card on one side, an ink comment card on the other, and an approval check mark above it.

01

Cross-functional review, no onboarding friction

Pull in SMEs, outside counsel, or customers with nothing to install and nothing to learn. They see a document and the comments on it — and a guest link scopes them to that one document, or even one section of it, for a fixed window.

02

Sync across people, not just devices

The same documents kept in sync between everyone on the team, on web and desktop. When two people's edits collide, both survive and get surfaced — conflict handling that never silently drops a change. (Just want your own documents on your own devices? That's the Individual tier.)

03

Sharing and guest access

Bring an outside stakeholder into one document without handing them your whole workspace. Guest access is scoped to what they were actually invited to review.

04

Attribution and sign-off that holds

Know who approved what — and whether it was a person or an agent — with identity verified, not just self-reported. Every change, share, and guest session lands in an append-only audit log you can export.

05

Send a dashboard, not a screenshot of one

An .html document renders as a real page, with its numbers live from a .json file in the same workspace. Stakeholders comment on the rendered result and approve it — no deck that goes stale the moment the data moves.

06

One place for prose and the numbers behind it

The narrative, the dashboard, and the data file sit in one workspace with one history between them. "Who changed this number, and when" gets the same answer as "who changed this paragraph".

Nothing is taken away

You keep everything from the free app.

Upgrading is additive. Your local files, your offline behaviour, and your version history all carry over unchanged.

Same local files

Still plain .md on disk. Nothing migrates into a proprietary format to unlock the Team tier.

Same offline behaviour

The local app still works with no network dependency. Sync is additive, not a replacement for working offline.

Same version history

Every version you've already kept stays kept. Rollback still works exactly as it did solo.

Same agent attribution

Your agents keep reporting their own changes. Verified identity is layered on top for the humans who need to sign off across the trust boundary.

Pricing

Pricing for the Team tier isn't finalized yet.

We're not going to quote a number here and change it under you. See the pricing page for where things currently stand — including the Individual tier if you just want your own documents synced — and see the solo page if you're still working alone.

Questions people ask before switching a team over

What exactly triggers needing the Team tier?

A second human joins the workspace. Solo local use — agents included — stays free, and a solo builder who just wants their own documents synced across devices needs only the Individual tier. Sharing a document with a teammate or an outside reviewer requires verified identity, sharing, and sync across people, which is the Team tier.

Do reviewers need to be technical to leave comments?

No. A cross-functional reviewer or an outside stakeholder opens the document, highlights the sentence they have a question about, and types. That is the whole interaction — no tool to install, no account for a guest, and nothing borrowed from developer tooling anywhere in their path.

Can I bring in an external reviewer without giving them the whole workspace?

Yes. Guest access scopes a person to a single shared document instead of your entire workspace, so an outside counsel, consultant, or customer can review and comment without seeing anything else.

What happens if two people edit the same document on different devices?

The Team tier syncs the same documents across web and desktop with conflict handling that never silently drops an edit — when two changes collide, both are kept and surfaced, not overwritten.

Do I lose anything from the free local app when I upgrade?

No. Same local files, same offline behaviour, same version history. Upgrading adds verified identity, sharing, and sync across people on top — it does not take anything away.

How much does the Team tier cost?

Pricing isn't finalized yet, for the Team tier or the Individual tier. See the pricing page for the current state, or get in touch — we're not going to bury a number in fine print once it exists either.
